Instruments used include 3 Horizon Drifters using ARGOS system for location, 1 Brightwater Drifter using ARGOS system for location, and 1 Brightwater Drifter using GPS-ARGOS system for location. These data were collected to support investigations of across-margin transport of biologically, geological, and chemically important materials as part of the DECADE project. Data collectors: Dr. Richard Garvine, University of Delaware, College of Marine Studies and Dr. Charles Tilburg, University of Georgia. The overall objective of this project is to determine the major elements in the mixing dynamics and the circulation in a buoyant coastal plume during upwelling and downwelling circulation events.
