The absolute average difference from the mean of these replicates is 0.8 μmol/kg.; Standardization description: Secondary standards were run throughout the cruise (at least one per station) on each analytical system. These standards are Certified Reference Materials (CRMs), consisting of poisoned, filtered, and UV irradiated seawater supplied by Dr. A. Dickson of Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO). Their accuracy is determined manometrically on land in San Diego. DIC data reported to the database have been corrected to the batch 117 CRM value.
