We investigated day-roost lability and fidelity, nocturnal activity patterns at the roost, and long-term use of roosts by '\u014dpe\u2018ape\u2018a.\nThe full data release consists of six tabular datasets: (1) Island of Hawai\u2018i, '\u014dpe\u2018ape\u2018a day-roost detection records, 2018-2021, (2) Island of Hawai\u2018i, '\u014dpe\u2018ape\u2018a day-roost switch metrics, 2018-2021, (3) Island of Hawai\u2018i, '\u014dpe\u2018ape\u2018a day-roost activity metrics, 2018-2021, (4) Island of Hawai\u2018i, '\u014dpe\u2018ape\u2018a day-roost long-term fidelity, 2019-2022, (5) Island of Hawai\u2018i, '\u014dpe\u2018ape\u2018a day-roost visual checks, 2019-2022, and (6) Island of Hawai\u2018i, '\u014dpe\u2018ape\u2018a day-roost change-points, 2019-2021. \nHere the fourth dataset is described, \"Island of Hawai\u2018i, '\u014dpe\u2018ape\u2018a day-roost long-term fidelity, 2019-2022\". The dataset consists of visual observations at a subset of identified bat day-roost trees that were monitored, when possible, over time, with an emphasis on previously used maternity roosts. From the broader study of day-roost use, only the subset of trees at which a bat(s) was visually confirmed and then later revisited are included in this dataset. Data were collected from June 2019 to June 2022 and included observations at seven day-roost trees that had been identified during prior studies 2005-2008.
