Data on temperature "in situ", salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphates, nitrates and nitrites content, pH, and bathythermograph casting, chlorophylls, light extinction, water transparency, vertical and horizontal plankton sampling were obtained. The values obtained by the ships were processed in the Diretoria de Hidrografia e Navegação and some graphs were made, representing the horizontal and vertical distribution along the profile of several oceanographic parameters. A resumed interpretation of the water masses is also presented.
