Municipal Fiscal Indicators contains the most current financial data available for each of Connecticut's 169 municipalities.\n\nThe data contained in Indicators provides key financial and demographic information on municipalities in Connecticut. The data includes selected demographic and economic data relating to, or having an impact upon, a municipality\u2019s financial condition.\n\nA bond rating is an evaluation by credit-rating agencies of a municipality\u2019s or school district\u2019s credit risk. A municipality's or school district\u2019s bonds may be rated by more than one rating agency. The three major rating agencies are Moody\u2019s Investor Services, Standard and Poor\u2019s Corporation, and Fitch Incorporated.\n\nThe majority of this data was compiled from the audited financial statements that are filed annually with the State of Connecticut, Office of Policy and Management, Office of Finance.
