Radio telemetry data was collected using an automated radio telemetry network from 2014 to 2019 from birds in two study sites, one a continuous forest and the other a fragmented forest. Four bird species that varied in age and sex were studied: the nectarivorous \u02bbi\u02bbiwi (Drepanis coccinea) and \u02bbapapane (Himatione sanguinea), the frugivorous \u02bb\u014dma\u02bbo (Myadestes obscurus), and the generalist Hawai\u02bbi \u02bbamakihi (Chlorodrepani virens). Data were used in the analysis for the manuscript entitled \"Landscape fragmentation alters movement behavior and space use of Hawaiian forest birds.\"", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P9MGXHLZ", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.6206d877d34ec05caca53078.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_6206d877d34ec05caca53078", "keyword": ["Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge", "Hawaii Island", "Hawaiian forest birds", "USGS:6206d877d34ec05caca53078", "Upper Waiakea Forest Reserve", "automatic radio telemetry", "biota", "movement patterns"], "modified": "2022-11-02T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-155.4401, 19.5779, -155.1572, 19.9036", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Hawaii Island forest bird movement data from 2014 to 2019"}
