It is one of \nmany developed in support of The High Plains Groundwater Availability Project \nand the U.S. Geological Survey Data Series Report: Geodatabase Compilation \nof Hydrogeologic, Remote Sensing, and Water-Budget-Component data for the \nHigh Plains aquifer, 2011 (DS 777).\n\t\t\nThe creation of the model grid is an important first step in developing a \ngroundwater-flow model, because all model inputs including hydraulic \nproperties, wells, and boundary conditions are assigned to the model \ncells. The northern High Plains groundwater-flow model boundary feature \ndataset contains three feature classes; the model grid cells for the northern\n High Plains groundwater-flow model in both polygon (cell) and point (centroid) \nformat and the external boundary of the model. The model grid contains 449,175 \ncells, 565 rows and 795 columns. Each cell is 1,000 feet per side. The model \ngrid is not rotated. The external boundary includes the active and inactive areas \nof the model.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P97D65NE", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.2fd666c3-b217-4b0a-b62a-45f63ed65b0d.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_2fd666c3-b217-4b0a-b62a-45f63ed65b0d", "keyword": ["Colorado", "High Plains aquifer", "Kansas", "Nebraska", "Ogallala aquifer", "South Dakota", "USGS:2fd666c3-b217-4b0a-b62a-45f63ed65b0d", "Wyoming", "aquifers", "environment", "geoscientificInformation", "ground water", "groundwater", "inlandWaters", "northern High Plains"], "modified": "2020-11-17T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-106.078685, 38.465178, -96.174395, 43.871475", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "DS-777 Spatial Location of the Active and Inactive areas of the Model Boundary for the Northern High Plains Groundwater-Flow Model in Parts of Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming"}
