Drone lidar was acquired over the same site two weeks later, on May 17th, 2021. The data were collected to assist in the excavation of a paleoseismic trench. An additional objective was to use these datasets to compare SfM and drone lidar collections. The imagery for the SfM model was collected using a DJI Phantom 4 Professional V2 drone, with the onboard camera. For the drone lidar, a Riegl MiniVux1-UAV laser scanner and an Applanix APX-20 UAV IMU mounted to a DJI Matrice 600 Pro drone were used to collect the dataset, more information about the platform can be found in Salomon et al. (2024). A classified point cloud and raster digital terrain models (DTMs) at different scales (20cm and 1m resolution) were produced.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5069/G92V2DBC", "mediaType": "text/html", "title": "OpenTopography Data Download Page"}], "identifier": "OTDS.102023.3157.1", "keyword": ["SfM", "UAV", "ULS", "community-dataspace", "drone", "fault", "lidar", "paleoseismology"], "license": "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0", "modified": "2023-10-23", "programCode": ["000:000"], "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "OpenTopography"}, "spatial": "-123.39,48.52,-123.39,48.53", "title": "Drone lidar and SfM survey of the XEOLXELEK-Elk Lake Fault, May 2021"}
