Point and line features represent the 3D structural of faults. Raster grids represent 1) the tops of several key, unconformity-bounded stratal packages, and 2) the interpolated mean vertical separation of these tops across the faults. The raster grids representing formation tops offset by faults were originally created using a kriging method within the Petroleum Experts MOVE software, then conditioned and modified using the Seequent Leapfrog software. The formation tops are constrained by several thousand subsurface oil and gas wells in the study area.\nVariations in the elevation of the raster grids reflect the subsurface structural architecture of the study area. Lutz et al. (2024) showed that along-strike variations in vertical separation were strongly influenced by pre-existing structure within the crystalline basement (e.g., preexisting faults, intrusive rock bodies). The 3D model also demonstrates variations in the thicknesses of syn-orogenic units, which support a southeast to northwest migration of flexural loading, foreland basin subsidence, and sedimentation.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P142PC64", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.65b17f6dd34e36a39044c46f.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_65b17f6dd34e36a39044c46f", "keyword": ["Arkansas", "Arkoma basin", "Atoka Formation", "Boone Formation", "Oklahoma", "Ouachita Mountains", "Ozark dome", "Petroleum geology", "Stratigraphic thickness", "Structural geology", "USGS:65b17f6dd34e36a39044c46f", "Wapanucka Limestone", "location"], "modified": "2025-03-25T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-94.4550, 35.1985, -91.9940, 36.5096", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Digital 3D database of faulted horizons in the northern Arkoma basin, Arkansas"}
