Information on the percent land area has been added, and HUCs for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands have been split into two separate files. The location of one HUC (a small island) has been adjusted to align with aerial imagery and GAP (Gap Analysis Program) land cover data. This dataset was produced by the US EPA to support research and online mapping activities related to EnviroAtlas. EnviroAtlas (https://www.epa.gov/enviroatlas) allows the user to interact with a web-based, easy-to-use, mapping application to view and analyze multiple ecosystem services for the contiguous United States. Recoded the GAP land cover raster to match classes in the C-CAP raster. Freshwater (66), Salt water (67), and Aquaculture (70) were classified as water. A small island (HUC 210100060300) to the west of Puerto Rico and north of Isla de Mona is in the wrong location in NHDPlusV21_CI_21_WBDSnapshot_03; it does not align with the island's location in the GAP (Gap Analysis Program) land cover raster or in aerial imagery. Moved the island approximately 13 seconds to the north and 10 seconds to the east to align with the location of the island in the GAP raster. Used NHDPlusV2_WBDSnapshot_EnviroAtlas_PR as the reporting units, PR_CCAP_Land_Cover_2010_EnviroAtlasVersion (the Puerto Rico C-CAP raster) as the land cover grid, and "C-CAP ALL HI-RES" as the land cover classification scheme. 2017-08-14T00:00:00 5.e.
