The flow direction raster (fdr.tif) indicates the directionality of flow as it exits each raster cell. If a cell contains a stormwater inlet, that cell is represented as a sink. The catchment raster (cat.tif) depicts the drainage areas to each stormwater inlet and to the surface-water flowpaths inside the basin. The catchment and flow direction rasters are used in tandem with the stormwater network to determine the drainage area of a user-selected point of interest within the StreamStats application. As the point of interest must lie on the stormwater network, the resulting delineation is the accumulation of all catchments draining to the specified point. This release also contains a shapefile of the altered Neponset River watershed boundary (Watershed.zip) that includes the stormwater infrastructure in the processing.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P1LEUJMG", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.6926f077d4be02656a6dc7ea.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_6926f077d4be02656a6dc7ea", "keyword": ["Boston", "Canton", "Dedham", "Dover", "Foxborough", "Massachusetts", "Medfield", "Middlesex County", "Milton", "Neponset", "Norfolk County", "Norwood", "Quincy", "Randolph", "Sharon", "Stoughton", "Suffolk County", "USGS:6926f077d4be02656a6dc7ea", "Walpole", "Westwood", "drainage basins", "geographic information systems", "hydrology", "runoff", "watershed management"], "modified": "2026-08-03T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-71.3013, 42.0640, -71.0067, 42.3114", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Digital Elevation Model and Derivative Datasets to Support the Integration of Stormwater Drainage into the StreamStats Application for the Neponset River Watershed, Massachusetts"}
