Any seepage losses that occur within the conservation pools of Medina and Diversion Lakes infiltrate the Edwards aquifer and the upper zone of the Trinity aquifer as recharge.  This data release contains hydrologic data collected during 1955\u20132022; meteorological data collected during 2017\u201322; three R script files used to analyze streamflow data for the purpose of estimating discharge from ungaged drainage areas; and a R script file used to do a statistical analysis of the hydrologic data compiled during the 1955\u20132022 study and which also provides a mathematical equation that relates Medina Lake stage to recharge to the Edwards aquifer and upper zone of the Trinity aquifer.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P14N5SNK", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.65c4fa3fd34ef4b119caf492.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_65c4fa3fd34ef4b119caf492", "keyword": ["Bandera", "Bandera County", "Bexar County", "Diversion Lake", "Edwards aquifer", "Helotes", "Helotes Creek", "Medina County", "Medina Lake", "Medina River", "Middle Verde Creek", "Pipe Creek", "Red Bluff Creek", "Riomedina", "San Antonio", "San Geronimo Creek", "Texas", "Trinity aquifer", "USGS:65c4fa3fd34ef4b119caf492", "atmospheric and climatic processes", "evaporation", "groundwater", "groundwater and surface-water interaction", "hydrogeology", "hydrographic datasets", "hydrologic processes", "hydrology", "precipitation (atmospheric)", "regression analysis", "statistical analysis", "streamflow", "water budget", "water cycle", "water resources"], "modified": "2024-11-14T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-99.1000, 29.4800, -98.6900, 29.7000", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Datasets and R scripts used for the water-budget analysis of the Medina and Diversion Lake system, Bandera, Bexar, and Medina Counties, Texas, 1955\u20132022"}
