Upland data were obtained from multiple data sources, including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) topographic sheets (t-sheets) and WorldView 2 satellite imagery. Regardless of the source, all upland lines were merged into a single file, to conduct a transect based change analyses. Datasets were compiled and analyzed using the R package Analyzing Moving Boundaries Using R (AMBUR) program (Jackson, 2010).
