Hourly data from August through October of each year are included at a spatial resolution of 6 km. These data were collected in support of BOEM OCE Study 2017-065 entitled "Characterization of the Circulation on the Continental Shelf Areas of the Northeastern Chukchi and Western Beaufort Seas" in order to evaluate general circulation patterns as well as surface v subsurface flow. Optimal interpolation was applied to the data set following Kim et al. (2008). Grid points were to have >60% temporal coverage and a normalized skill of >0.7 following Fang et al.
