Each point corresponds to a fixed, georeferenced sampling station distributed throughout the Indian River Lagoon system. These stations are part of a standardized monitoring program that conducts seasonal surveys (summer and winter) to quantify seagrass percent cover, species composition, and associated habitat characteristics. Coordinates were recorded in geographic format and projected to WGS 84 for consistency with other spatial datasets used in this study. The spatial distribution of stations was mapped to illustrate coverage across the lagoon and to support integration with fisheries-independent monitoring (FIM) data. asNeeded Metadata are developed, maintained and distributed by NCEI.
