The samples were collected between June 10-12, 2024, from both public supply (8) and private well (18) sources. Because of privacy concerns, the exact locations of the site locations are not disclosed. The samples were analyzed at two USGS laboratories in Boulder, Colorado: the Redox Chemistry Laboratory and the Analytical Trace Element Chemistry-Common Services Laboratory. \nOrganic compounds and microbiological indicators were also analyzed for this study.
