Water recharged from streamflow\nloss compared to direct infiltration of precipitation is more likely\nto enter rapid flowpaths through the unsaturated zone and aquifer\nmedia because of solution openings. This data set\nincludes arcs that represent the stream reaches that cross the\noutcrops of the Minnekahta Limestone, Minnelusa Formation, and\nMadison Limestone that have potential to recharge the aquifers from\nstreamflow loss.  The source data includes digital data that\ncharacterizes the geology of the Black Hills area, which\nhas been compiled at 1:100,000 scale and published\nin 1999 as part of the Black Hills Hydrology Study.\nUSGS digital line graphs were used to describe the hydrography.\nThe loss-zone data set has been archived at the USGS\nWater Resources National Spatial Data Information Node.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P9UQSI4N", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.7834843e-95f3-43e4-89d4-c670aec26a33.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_7834843e-95f3-43e4-89d4-c670aec26a33", "keyword": ["Contamination", "Ground water", "Lawrence County", "Sensitivity", "South Dakota", "USGS:7834843e-95f3-43e4-89d4-c670aec26a33", "environment", "geoscientificInformation", "inlandWaters"], "modified": "2020-11-17T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-104.05086981, 44.29630335, -103.56612549, 44.49757848", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Arcs Representing Potential Streamflow-loss Zones in Lawrence County, SD"}
