The point cloud was derived from structure-from-motion (SfM) processing of aerial imagery collected from a helicopter with a hand-held digital camera on 2024-08-15. Each point in the point cloud contains an explicit horizontal and vertical coordinate, color, intensity, and classification. The raw imagery used to create each point cloud was acquired using a Canon EOS 5Dsr digital SLR camera (50.6MP Full-Frame CMOS Sensor) with attached Canon GPS Receiver GP-E2 and Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM prime telephoto lens. Images were collected at approximately 230 meters above sea level (ASL), 275-460 meters away while circling each island at least once to provide a set of overlapping oblique images resulting in a nominal ground-sample-distance (GSD) of 1.5 centimeters.  The raw imagery was geotagged using positions from the Canon GPS. For 6 islands (Goat Island, Hunters Island, North Crook Point Rock, Saddle Rock, Whaleshead Cove East, Whaleshead Cove West) 3 temporary ground control points (GCPs) were distributed throughout each island to establish survey control. The GCPs consisted of orange 5-gallon bucket lids (diameter 31.4 centimeters). The GCP positions were measured with an Eos GNSS GPS receiver using real time kinematic (RTK) corrections paired with the Field Maps app. The remaining 4 islands (Myers Creek East, Myers Creek West, Unnamed Island 106 and Unnamed Island 73) that did not have GCPs, used existing LiDAR data with the Agisoft Metashape align laser scans feature to better align their positions.
