Data were collected using the tracer-pulse method described in Izbicki and others (1999), in which a pulse of a rhodamine dye tracer is injected to a known depth in an operating well and the travel time of the tracer to a detector in line with the surface discharge of the well is measured. Velocity and cumulative flow are calculated from the dye-arrival times using methods described by Izbicki and others (1999). Flow for both wells was calculated using the installed pump within the screened interval, which captured flow from above and below the pump intake.
