Each CoC collects data about the people it serves through its programs, such as homelessness prevention services, street outreach services, permanent housing interventions and a range of other strategies aligned with California\u2019s Housing First objectives.\r\n\r\nThe dataset uploaded reflects the 2026 HUD Data Standard changes. Gender data is sourced from prior uploads and matched to the most recent HMIS uploads from each CoC. Sex data, introduced in the federally mandated HUD HMIS FY2026 Data Standards updates, will begin to be reported on in Calendar Year 2026.
