The Tillman terrace and alluvial aquifer is an\nunconfined aquifer that extends over an area of approximately\n285 square miles and is used for irrigation and domestic\npurposes. The aquifer encompasses the unconsolidated terrace deposits\nand river alluvium associated with the North Fork of the Red\nRiver and the Red River in the western half of Tillman County.\nThese sediments consist of discontinuous layers of clay, sandy\nclay, sand, and gravel.\nWater-level elevation contours for ground-water levels measured\nin 1969 were digitized from a paper map in a thesis in which the\nground-water flow was modeled in the Tillman terrace and\nalluvial aquifer. The map was published at a scale of 1:249,695.\nWater-level elevations ranged from about 1,360 feet above sea\nlevel in the eastern part of the aquifer to 1,120 feet above sea\nlevel in the southern part of the aquifer.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P9HDLLRP", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.e19e48c1-411c-4cb2-a11e-b0010d6cb156.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_e19e48c1-411c-4cb2-a11e-b0010d6cb156", "keyword": ["Tillman alluvial and terrace aquifer", "Tillman alluvial aquifer", "Tillman aquifer", "Tillman terrace and alluvial aquifer", "Tillman terrace aquifer", "USGS:e19e48c1-411c-4cb2-a11e-b0010d6cb156", "alluvial and terrace aquifer", "alluvial aquifer", "alluvial deposit", "aquifers", "environment", "geoscientificInformation", "ground water", "ground-water level elevation", "ground-water level elevation contours", "ground-water levels", "ground-water vulnerability", "groundwater", "groundwater level elevation", "groundwater level elevation contours", "groundwater levels", "groundwater vulnerability", "inlandWaters", "terrace and alluvial aquifer", "terrace aquifer", "terrace deposit", "water level contours", "water level elevation", "water level elevation contours", "water levels", "water-level contours", "water-level elevation", "water-level elevation contours"], "modified": "2020-11-17T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-99.2236, 34.2017, -98.9853, 34.6295", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Digital data sets that describe aquifer characteristics of the Tillman terrace and alluvial aquifer in southwestern Oklahoma"}
