This dataset shows 2024 statistics for all domestic airports operated by US carriers, and all information are totals for the year across all four (4) service classes (F - Scheduled Passenger/ Cargo Service, G - Scheduled All Cargo Service, L - Non-Scheduled Civilian Passenger/ Cargo Service, and P - Non-Scheduled Civilian All Cargo Service). This dataset is a combination of both T-100 Market and T-100 Segments datasets. The T-100 Market includes enplanement data, and T-100 Segment data includes passengers, arrivals, departures, freight, and mail. Data is by origin airport. Along with yearly aggregate totals for these variables, this dataset also provides more granular information for the passenger and freight variable by service class and by scheduled vs non-scheduled statistics where applicable. On the left side of the page, under “Data Finder” and “By Mode,” “Aviation” was selected. The third database listed, or “Air Carrier Statistics (Form 41 Traffic)- U.S. Carriers” was selected. This database shows monthly data reported by certificated U.S. air carriers on passengers, freight and mail transported. It also includes aircraft type, service class, available capacity and seats, and aircraft hours ramp-to-ramp and airborne. Next the “T-100 Domestic Market (U.S. Carriers)” table was downloaded. This is where the enplanements, freight, and mail variables are derived from. On the lower right side of the record for the table, “Download” was clicked. At the top of the download page for this table, “Filter Year” was selected to the full calendar year that has just past, and the “Filter Period” was selected to the option “All Months.” Under the Summaries section, the fields “Passengers,” “Freight,” and “Mail” were selected. Under the Origin section, the “Origin” field was selected and under the “Other” section, the “Class” field was selected. All other sections and fields were left unselected. Towards the top right of the page, “Download” was selected to download the Excel table. After opening this downloaded table, the table was queried to show only records with “F” class, meaning scheduled service.
