This was the \u201craw\u201d data that was incorporated into the global mosaics.\nEmissions from seven main categories of human activities (power, industry, residential, agriculture, ground transport, aviation and shipping) were estimated and spatially distributed on a common grid of 0.1\u00ba \u00d7 0.1\u00ba longitude-latitude, to yield monthly, global, sector-specific gridmaps for each substance and year.\nEmission summaries from the supplemental information in the published journal article are also included. \n\nThis dataset is associated with the following publication:\nJanssens-Maenhout, G., M.
