The goal for this project is to scale this data and workflow so that it can be used more broadly to inform Reclamation\u2019s water managers at an agency level. This report covers Year 1 of this project, which has promising results to date. This report serves as a transmittal document for two technical reports from the University of Wyoming and the University of New Mexico, and the University of Washington on their work in this pursuit. This project is further funded for Years 2-4 under Reclamation\u2019s Science and Technology Program. A final report for this project in its entirety is expected in late 2025.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://data.usbr.gov/catalog/8085/item/128843", "description": "Landing page for \"S&T Project SNOW-7 Final Report: Assessing the Utility of New Satellites to Advance State-of-the-Art Snow-Forecasting Capabilities Report\"", "mediaType": "text/html", "title": "RISE Item Details Page URL for \"S&T Project SNOW-7 Final Report: Assessing the Utility of New Satellites to Advance State-of-the-Art Snow-Forecasting Capabilities Report\""}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "\"S&T Project SNOW-7 Final Report: Assessing the Utility of New Satellites to Advance State-of-the-Art Snow-Forecasting Capabilities Report\" as a PDF file", "downloadURL": "https://data.usbr.gov/rise/content-rise-public/rise/catalog-item/binary/Final%20Report%20-%20SNOW-7%20-%20for%20RISE%20upload%20-%20508%20compliant%20and%20signed.pdf", "mediaType": "application/pdf", "title": "PDF File for \"S&T Project SNOW-7 Final Report: Assessing the Utility of New Satellites to Advance State-of-the-Art Snow-Forecasting Capabilities Report\""}], "identifier": "https://datainventory.usbr.gov/rise/item/128843", "keyword": ["Forecasting", "Remote Sensing", "Satellite Remote Sensing", "Snow Accumulation", "Snow Water Equivalent", "Snowfall", "Water Supply"], "landingPage": "https://data.usbr.gov/catalog/8085/item/128843", "modified": "2025-08-06T09:54:01Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "Bureau of Reclamation"}, "spatial": "{\"type\":\"Polygon\",\"coordinates\":[[[-106.7573333333,36.9856666667],[-106.7573333333,37.253],[-106.5516666667,37.253],[-106.5516666667,36.9856666667],[-106.7573333333,36.9856666667]]]}", "title": "S&T Project SNOW-7 Final Report: Assessing the Utility of New Satellites to Advance State-of-the-Art Snow-Forecasting Capabilities Report"}
