The two goals of this study were to compile and review existing dive and aquatic field sampling gear decontamination protocols and conduct a literature review of research focused on decontamination methods. Information was compiled from these documents to help determine most studied methods, most used methods, and information gaps or methods that have potential, but are not well studied. No single best approach for AIS decontamination emerged from this analysis but some methods do appear to be more viable than others. It was made evident that having a proactive and flexible AIS program that evaluates different scenarios and tailors techniques to specific conditions, equipment, and AIS is the best approach that should be taken.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://data.usbr.gov/catalog/6378/item/72319", "description": "Landing page for \"S&T Project 21031 Final Report: Survey and Evaluation of Dive and Field Gear Decontamination Protocols for Aquatic Invasive Species\"", "mediaType": "text/html", "title": "RISE Item Details Page URL for \"S&T Project 21031 Final Report: Survey and Evaluation of Dive and Field Gear Decontamination Protocols for Aquatic Invasive Species\""}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "\"S&T Project 21031 Final Report: Survey and Evaluation of Dive and Field Gear Decontamination Protocols for Aquatic Invasive Species\" as a PDF file", "downloadURL": "https://data.usbr.gov/rise/content-rise-public/rise/catalog-item/binary/21031_%20Evaluation%20of%20AIS%20Dive%20Gear%20Decontamination%20Protocols_Final.pdf", "mediaType": "application/pdf", "title": "PDF File for \"S&T Project 21031 Final Report: Survey and Evaluation of Dive and Field Gear Decontamination Protocols for Aquatic Invasive Species\""}], "identifier": "https://datainventory.usbr.gov/rise/item/72319", "keyword": ["Aquatic Invasive Species", "Decontamination", "Diving", "Field Equipment", "Quagga Mussels", "Zebra Mussels"], "landingPage": "https://data.usbr.gov/catalog/6378/item/72319", "modified": "2022-09-20T15:13:10Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "Bureau of Reclamation"}, "spatial": "{\"type\":\"Polygon\",\"coordinates\":[[[-124.508,48.197],[-124.304,40.096],[-117.02,32.608],[-103.405,29.136],[-93.466,30.77],[-94.692,38.939],[-97.279,48.946],[-122.67,48.946],[-124.508,48.197]]]}", "title": "S&T Project 21031 Final Report: Survey and Evaluation of Dive and Field Gear Decontamination Protocols for Aquatic Invasive Species"}
