The Quaternary-age alluvial and\nterrace deposits consist of unconsolidated clay, silt, sand,\nand gravel.\nThe hydraulic conductivity data set was created from digital\ndata sets developed to produce a map for a previously\npublished report. The hydraulic conductivity of the alluvial\nand terrace deposits are not included in this data set. This\ndata set represents the hydraulic conductivities of only the\nsandstone units in the Garber Sandstone and Wellington\nFormations and the Chase, Council Grove, and Admire Groups.\nThe median hydraulic conductivity of the sandstones in the\nGarber Sandstone and Wellington Formations and the Chase,\nCouncil Grove, and Admire Groups, calculated from specific\ncapacity data, is 4.5 feet per day The contact between the\nWellington Formation and the Chase, Council Grove, and Admire\nGroups was included in this data set because the median\npercentage of sandstone in the Chase, Council Grove, and\nAdmire Groups is 43 percent of the median sandstone\npercentage of the Garber Sandstone and Wellington\nFormations.
