This dataset provides results from the analysis of sediments for chemical contaminants from the STXEEMP in a readily accessible format that can be viewed and analyzed by others interested in the subject matter. The project was developed to provide local resource managers in St. Croix with detailed information on chemical contaminants in sediments, along with an analysis of the benthic infuanal community. The project was requested by the USVI Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR), to better understand the condition of the STXEEMP, in terms of the presence and effects of chemical contaminants.
