Metrics for resiliency, including the unvegetated to vegetated ratio (UVVR), marsh elevation, tidal range, and lifespan are calculated for smaller units delineated from a digital elevation model, providing the spatial variability of physical factors that influence wetland health. The U.S. Geological Survey has been expanding national assessment of coastal change hazards and forecast products to coastal wetlands with the intent of providing federal, state, and local managers with tools to estimate the vulnerability and ecosystem service potential of these wetlands. For this purpose, the response and resilience of coastal wetlands to physical factors need to be assessed in terms of the ensuing change to their vulnerability and ecosystem services.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P13IBTSL", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.69d3b74bb66b016da3922435.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_69d3b74bb66b016da3922435", "keyword": ["Abbotts Meadow Wildlife Management Area", "Delaware Bay", "Dennis Creek Wildlife Management Area", "Dix Wildlife Management Area", "Egg Island Fish and Wildlife Management Area", "Fortescue Wildlife Management Area", "Heislerville Wildlife Management Area", "Mad Horse Creek Wildlife Management Area", "Nantuxent Wildlife Management Area", "New Sweden Wildlife Management Area", "Salem River Wildlife Management Area", "State of New Jersey", "Supawna Wildlife Management Area", "USGS:69d3b74bb66b016da3922435", "United States", "coastal ecosystems", "coastal processes", "environment", "estuary", "geospatial datasets", "inlandWaters", "marsh health", "oceans", "salt marsh", "tidal range", "tides (oceanic)", "vegetation", "wetland ecosystems", "wetland functions"], "modified": "2026-05-21T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-75.564126, 38.964539, -74.798014, 39.765378", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Mean tidal range of marsh units in Delaware Bay-facing New Jersey salt marshes"}
