The original data archived in https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset/526852 are re-arrange, with new calculations to facilitate the modelling. Gelatinous zooplankton (Cnidaria, Ctenophora, and Urochordata, namely Thaliacea) are members of plankton communities linking primary production to higher trophic levels and the deep ocean by serving as food and transferring “jelly-carbon” (jelly-C) upon bloom collapse. This dataset is available to the public for a wide variety of uses including scientific research and analysis.
