The data can be used by researchers in developing new capabilities for the remote sensing of forest diversity and function, as well as a global biodiversity monitoring system.\n\nThe [Indian Cave ForestGeo](https://forestgeo.si.edu/sites/north-america/indian-cave) plot airborne data were collected on September 6, 2019, and August 4, 2022.
