Data for discrete water-quality samples collected during water years 2021 through 2024 are reported, including storm-event samples and   baselfow samples. Analyses include ions, nutrients, dissolved organic carbon, and suspended-sediment concentration.  Samples were analyzed by the National Water Quality Laboratory, Reston Stable Isotope Laboratory, and select sediment laboratories. A Site Information spreadsheet that contains site specific metadata, including drainage area, cumulative precipitation, and land use data, for each basin is also provided.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P13QOUKH", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.6631127ed34ea70bd5f26675.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_6631127ed34ea70bd5f26675", "keyword": ["California", "Colorado", "Montana", "New Mexico", "Oregon", "USGS:6631127ed34ea70bd5f26675", "aquatic biology", "cations (water)", "contaminant transport", "datasets", "discrete water-quality sampling", "dissolved metals", "ecology", "ecosystem resilience", "fire damage", "fires", "freshwater ecosystems", "geochemical processes", "hydrology", "isotopes", "land use and land cover", "nutrient content (water)", "oxygen content (water)", "post-wildfire", "river systems", "stream discharge", "stream-gage measurement", "surface water quality", "surface-water level", "suspended material (water)", "time series datasets", "turbidity", "water chemistry", "water hardness", "water pH", "water sampling", "water temperature", "western United States", "wildfire"], "modified": "2026-06-23T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-124.9400, 31.1282, -102.7441, 49.0000", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Water quality data for selected post-wildfire watersheds in the western United States, water years 2021\u20132024"}
