The expedition was a part of an ongoing project on the Korea-Arctic Ocean Warming and Response of Ecosystem (K-AWARE) project of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Korea. The objective of K-AWARE are to identify key environmental parameters (physics and biochemistry) in rapid transition due to the sea-ice decrease in the western Arctic Ocean (Bering Strait and Chukchi Sea). These data are composed of physical, chemical and biological parameters. This data set is MSR/RATS U2023-007 as part of the World Data Center for Oceanography. Data are in XLS and TXT formats. This dataset is available to the public for a wide variety of uses including scientific research and analysis.
