These data were collected using a redundant quasi-three component electric field sensors carried by the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) Sentry during an expedition to the Escanaba Trough in the northeast Pacific Ocean in 2022 (USGS Field Activity 2022-621-FA). A SP map was computed by taking a spatial integral of the gridded vertical electric field data. These data are available as a GeoTIFF float32 file.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P1359BKJ", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.6a2b3d171ba49b7d7f5a8dcd.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_6a2b3d171ba49b7d7f5a8dcd", "keyword": ["Bathymetry and Elevation", "CMHRP", "Central Hill", "Coastal and Marine Hazards and Resources Program", "Escanaba Trough", "PCMSC", "Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center", "U.S. Geological Survey", "USGS", "USGS:6a2b3d171ba49b7d7f5a8dcd", "bathymetry", "bathymetry measurement", "electric field", "geoscientificInformation", "geospatial datasets", "marine geophysics", "metallic mineral resources", "mineral resources", "oceans", "sea-floor characteristics", "self-potential"], "modified": "2026-07-28T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-127.514841, 40.981920, -127.473402, 41.008992", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Vertical integration mapping of self-potential in the Escanaba Trough (Central Hill)"}
