The CJSTA included information from\r\ncourt records on civil trials concluded in 2005 and tracked\r\nthe subsequent appeals from 2005 through March 2010.\r\nInformation collected included the types of civil cases\r\nappealed, appeals dismissed or withdrawn before being\r\ndecided on the merits, and appeals resulting in the trial\r\ncourt decision being reversed or affirmed.
