    • Zambia Impact Evaluation of Gender and Groundnut Value Chains

    Feed the Future Zambia aims to assist Zambian women, children,and family members escape poverty and hunger. Two mechanisms operating under Feed the Future Zambia are the Production, Finance, and Technology Plus (PROFIT+) project and the Better Life Alliance (BLA) project.

    The baseline impact evaluation included both quantitative and qualitative components. The Zambia groundnut value chains impact evaluation seeks to test the hypothesis that the gender interventions implemented by the PROFIT+ and BLA projects will assist in maintaining or increasing women’s control over production, marketing/sales, and proceeds from groundnuts as groundnut commercialization increases.
