This project is focused on collecting upper ocean data ahead-of and during tropical cyclones to better understand ocean mixing and feedbacks on hurricane intensity. Glider deployments are intended to occur during the NOAA GOMO Integrated Field Campaign Coordinated Hurricane Atmosphere Ocean Sampling alongside other ocean observing assets such as Saildrones, air-deployed floats, uncrewed aerial vehicles, among others.
