    Thin section analysis of samples from the Haines-Takshanuk Mountains-Chilkat Peninsula area STATEMAP project, Southeast Alaska, collected 2022 and 2023, Raw Data File 2025-6, offers comprehensive petrographic descriptions of rock samples collected from various stations visited during fieldwork for the Haines-Takshanuk Mountains-Chilkat Peninsula area STATEMAP project near Haines, Alaska. The project area encompasses portions of the Skagway A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2, and B-3 15-minute quadrangles, covering approximately 300 square miles. The data tables provide observations on lithologic classification, texture, mineral crystal structure and development sequence, and mineral components. This work primarily aims to differentiate between igneous rocks, volcaniclastic metasedimentary rocks, and volcaniclastic metavolcanic rocks. These data and report are available from the DGGS website: http://doi.org/10.14509/31517.
