    This dataset contains surface microplastics (i.e. plastics measuring less than 5mm, reported in unit of pieces/m^3) concentration in the Brazilian Amazon Continental Shelf from 2018-03-13 to 2018-10-23. Microplastics data was collected during two oceanographic cruises: one in March (rainy season) and the other in October (dry season) of 2018. The microplastics sampling effort involved using a 20L aluminum bucket to collect 60L of surface water and filtered through a 64-μm mesh plankton net. This dataset contains the results from all 57 sampling efforts, in a spreadsheet format.
