    A custom built camera sled outfitted with video equipment (and other devices) was deployed from the NOAA research vesselTatoosh during August 2005. Video data from specific dives falling within the bounds of the HMPR-116-2005-01n survey area werereviewed to examine the benthic characteristics as a tool for validating sonar imagery.
