  • SE 12-03 Oceanographic: XBT Casts

    XBT casts were conducted three times each day (morning, midday, afternoon) along the transect lines within the Palmyra EEZ and during the transit from American Samoa to Oahu via the Palmyra EEZ. If wind and swell conditions prevented a CTD cast, an XBT cast was conducted.
