This dataset contains CALIBRATED (CODMAC LEVEL 3) DATA of the FIRST EARTH SWINGBY (EAR1) of the ROSETTA orbiter magnetometer RPCMAG. The closest approach (CA) took place on March 4, 2005 at 22:09. Included are data of the swingby from March 1, 2005 until March 7, 2005 and the Passive Checkout PC0 on March 29, 2005. The current version of the dataset is V9.0. The difference to the datasets of earlier versions is mainly a significantly improved sensor temperature model, more detailed documentation about magnetic disturbance sources, more data handling information for the user and also an improved quality flagging system.
