    This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, meteorological, physical and profile data collected from KNORR in the North Atlantic Ocean and South Atlantic Ocean from 1987-11-24 to 1989-04-12. These data include BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-11 (CFC-11), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-12 (CFC-12), DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), Tritium (Hydrogen isotope), WATER TEMPERATURE, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle.

    These data were collected by Taro Takahashi of Columbia University; Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and Tsung-Hung Peng of NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory as part of the SAVE_Expeditions_1_4 data set.
