Oceanographic temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and pressure measurements collected using CTD from Nathaniel B. Palmer in the Ross Sea during 2004 (NCEI Accession 0036202)

Metadata Updated: November 1, 2025

The primary goal of the AnSlope program is to identify the principal physical processes that govern the transfer of shelf-modified dense water into intermediate and deep layers of the adjacent deep ocean. Also, to understand the compensatory poleward flow of waters from the oceanic regime.
