Cruises took place from 18 April 1952 to 7 December 2012 in Caspian, Black and Azov Seas. Various vessels were used to collect data in the open sea. Data collection activities were also carried out in the coastal zone from small boats. Oceanographic data were used for weather forecasts and monitoring the state of the biological resources of Caspian, Black and Azov Seas.
