    • Nigeria Tractor Sellers Survey 2018

    This data asset contains the data from the tractor sellers survey carried out in Kaduna State in Nigeria in 2018. Kaduna state was one of the seven focal states under the Nigerian Agricultural Policy Project (NAPP) under the USAID FTF. Since the survey focused on the population for which no list existed, the sampling design was based on snowballing methods, in which tractor sellers were identified from tractor owners, tractor-owner’s associations, local NGOs and government offices, as well as tractor sellers identified at earlier stages. In total, 30 tractor sellers were identified. The data is split into survey modules. Modules 1 is the Cover Sheet and Informed Consent. Module 2 includes tractor sales business activities, revenues and costs structures. Module 3 is the information on entry into tractor / machinery sales business. Module 4 is other income-earning activities of the household members. Module 5 includes data on general demographic characteristics.
