Minor Clay Step features near Myrtle Bend on the Kootenai River near Bonners Ferry, ID
The minor clay step features are defined as having a vertical face that is less than
or equal to 1.5 meters. The clay step features were qualitately identified using an
underwater video monitoring sysyem. The extent and magnitude of the clay steps
were mapped using a muliteam bathymetric echosounder system.
