This data set contains values for Nationally Consistent Data and Measures (NCDMs) designated by the national Environmental Public Health Tracking Program derived from vital records files; these measures describe outcomes of pregnancy, mortality risk from the perinatal period through infancy, population fertility, and sex ratios among newborns. One dataset contains annualized measures calculated for California counties, while the other contains identical measures calculated for California census tracts.
