    • IRIS Linkage with Alliance for Water Stewardship

    The Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) is a global standard for water management. IRIS created metrics designed to measure social, economic and financial performance of an investment. This data asset shows how AWS and IRIS align with indicators showing how water should be managed at a site, and within the catchment in a way that is environmentally, socially and economically beneficial.

    The IRIS metrics align with the AWS Standard, which defines a set of water stewardship criteria and indicators for how water should be managed at a site and within the catchment in a way that is environmentally, social, and economically beneficial. Recognizing the increased positions that impact investors are taking in water investments, IRIS and the AWS partnered to establish an alignment between the two frameworks. This spreadsheet shows the alignment.
