    This dataset contains Oregon State University Newport Line CTD data, and BT and Station Data provided by the California Department of Fish and Game. These data were submitted by Compass Systems, Inc. (CSI).

    The Oregon State University Newport Line CTD data includes 10 files containing 1975 Oregon coast data, 4 files containing CUE-I data and 9 files containing 1972 CUE-II data. These data are in Oregon State University format. There are no platform codes for some of the data. Also included in the tape is Ocean data from 1959 to 1970 (L130). This is one of 43 tapes submitted by CSI.

    The BT and Station Data provided by the California Department of Fish and Game were collected off the coast of California and Baja California from 1966 to 1976 for the BT data, and from 1966-67, 1968, 1969-84 for the Station Data. Data include measurements taken after the Santa Barbara Oil Spill in February 1970. The BT and Station Data are in NODC format. This is one of 43 tapes submitted by CSI.
