Slocum glider data were collected during a Lake Huron deployment from 2017-09-12 through 2017-10-06. This deployment was part of the EPA sponsored 2017 Lake Huron CSMI (Coordinated Science and Monitoring Initiative). The glider initially deployed near Tawas, MI and traveled south to Saginaw Bay. The glider then traversed a triangular path between northwest and southeast points at the mouth of Saginaw Bay (near Tawas, MI and Port Austin, MI), and offshore 30 km to sample mid-lake conditions. This transect was repeated to observe the gradient across the Saginaw Bay and transition to offshore conditions. Note, the glider was deployed in areas with at least 20m of depth. The glider collected vertical profiles of conductivity, temperature, depth, chlorophyll, colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM), backscatter, and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) between depths of 0 and 70 m.
